Who they are...

BLD PWR works at the intersection of grassroots and narrative activism. We partner with artists, storytellers, grassroots groups, and community activists dedicated to challenging injustice by empowering frontline communities to address issues that affect their lives. The Entertainment Industry is uniquely positioned to discuss and leverage social issues to create rich experiences and deeper sense of empathy and understanding. Harnessing the power of narrative activism, sharing stories can be an effective means to help shape, enhance and amplify important ideas in grassroots organizing. Therefore, becoming better storytellers is vital in the impact and efficacy of activist groups and campaigns.

What they do...

BLD PWR demand better. Prove that Black Lives Matter to Hollywood by taking bold moves to affirm, defend and invest in Black lives.  Follow the examples of the Minneapolis School District, Denver Public Schools, the University of Minnesota and many other institutions in divesting from the policing system and investing in Black community.
